Been a while since I had seen it, and I think I missed the opening.

Powerful stuff. And very few words spoken.

Tells a story in a short amount of time with subtle clues to let your imagination fill the gaps. That interaction is what makes it more moving, at least to me.

And aren't those Archie and Edith Bunker's chairs?

I remember tears streaming down our faces and my young daughter asking "why is it so sad"?

Great movie.

That scene is amazing. It's really impressively done and powerful.
I also remember Steve Jobs saying he loved it in one of the keynotes.

I see a lot of my future self in him. At the time it was my father-in-law's story. Based on genetics, I'll become a widower at some point in the next 20 years. I've already decided I'm not going to be a happy person.

The first five minutes was the best part of the whole movie--the only part worth watching again, in my opinion.

Two thumbs UP!

Some of the best story-telling I've seen in a long time.

It's a great movie.

The first minutes are the most powerful, and in that way similar to WALL•E.

I found the rest of up eminently re-watchable and have done so a few times.

But there is a lot to be said for telling so much in a story while saying nary a word.
