Voice recognition to be precise.

Maybe it's my location, but I find Siri slow and not horribly smart. I don't do a lot of fancy things on my phone–I tend to do more when I travel, so I'll let you know my verdict after I take her on a trip–so my uses are generally phone, text messages, email, notes, reminders, and restaurant searches.

For text messages or anything that requires a significant amount of writing, I love the voice recognition. I find that the voice recognition is over 90% accurate. It may be over 98% accurate. Since I hate typing text on the small screen, It is definitely worth dictating messages and going in ex post to fix the few errors.

If we can't have Siri on the next iPad, at least add the voice recognition.

Vlingo voice recognition does enough on my IP4 of what i'd like Siri to do for me.

agree smiley Siri would be nice but Vlingo is working quite nice, I've been able to use to dial the phone for me and etc.

If I could set reminders with Vlingo like Siri does, then I'd be happy with Vlingo. But I'm hoping that Siri will make its way to the iPhone 4 soon.

Well, I got tired quickly of, "Sorry, I can't (whatever) in France."

I wouldn't hold my breath. But then I also would like the same to happen.

I did too, but that was on a trip 20 years ago. I think it was because I was in a small town on a Sunday.
