7-11, no free slurpee day?

Used to see promotions for a free slurpee on June 11th, at participating 7-11 stores, but I don't see anything this year. It is a no-go?

OMG, I generally don't allow myself to get behind unhealthy foods-- but I had a Slurpee 2 weeks ago that was great-- it was Sunkist orange flavor. Tasted just like one of these:

I suffer from the same sensitivity that you do. A few nuggets of wisdom were shared with me and I'm "trying" to incorporate them into my life. First, remember that nobody can hurt your feelings unless you let them. You can always reject what is being forced on you emotionally.
Second, nothing changes unless you change it. If you don't want the behavior to be repeated then you need to take action. Otherwise the kid has learned that his behavior is the way to get things done, because everyone lets him get away with it.
In the meantime I sympathize because I've been there.

Check Craigslist, where every day is free slurpee day.

In the local newspaper today, it said Slurpees are free and Big Gulps 25% larger.

That would be the "Sunkist Orange and Cream" flavor, mighty delicious!
Sadly, only one 7-11 I could find had that flavor, and it is way across town. All the flavors the local ones carry is those fscking "SOUR" flavors the kids love. YECCCH!

As I've always said, you give a 14 year old the discretionary income of someone making $200,000 a year, but the willpower of a stripper on crack, your gonna have trouble!

It isn't mentioned on the site but they do this every year and supposedly someone got an email saying it is on for this year too.

Don't know for sure it is on, but there is still time to stop by to try for it. . .worst they can do is say no.

no harm. ..no foul. . .
