Hi everybody,

Thanks to everyone for the well wishes, especially rgG, thanks for the cute animations!...

For people who aren't aware of it, 1/1 has always been a lousy birthday to have. Two reasons: 1) Sometimes people would do the typical thing and get you one present for both Christmas and your birthday (a common problem with having a birthday around the holidays); and 2) rather than 12/31, people aren't celebrating your birthday or celebrating on your birthday-- instead, they are off vacationing or skiing, hung over from the night before, or worse, watching football (and in each case, are definitely not in a mood to celebrate much of anything). So Paul F., that niece of yours is in for it, trust me, I know... give her a little something nice extra today.

Also, as some of you might know, 2005 was a specifically rotten year for me, and so I'm really, really glad to see it gone. Hopefully 2006 will be a might bit better, and bring some new (better) people and things into my life...

Anyhow, thanks again to everyone for their kind wishes...
