Your favorite Mac OS X Applications?
Posted by: space-time

what is your favorite OS X App/Application, that would be both from the Mac App Store or traditional Application (i.e. not from the App store).

I immagine everyone has some favorites and we may enjoy sharing with each other our favorite ones.

I will add to my list a few more later, but I shall start with

Dropbox
CoconutBattery
Pixelmator
1Password
CarbonCopyCloner
SmartUtility
Handbrake
VLC

I will add a few more later

Photoshop - I'm in constant amazement at what this thing can do - and I am probably only 30% proficient.

Adobe Lightroom - my photo catalog app of choice

Timbuktu - I love having access to all the macs on the network, but this critter is OLD (a few versions old) and I suspect that other cheaper tools are in my future...

Hold on there, hal; Timbuktu is still available? I'll have to check it out to see if they have updated it to run under Snow Leopard/Lion.

Favorites:

Pages, Numbers - I like iWorks programs a lot.
Carbon Copy Cloner
Camino browser
I really liked the old, pre-Lion Entourage for email, but Outlook is not as smooth it seems.
Yeah, TurboTax - I would not have thought of that one, but I am using it right now. I keep changing between HR Block's and Intuit's tax programs. TT seems to be fine this year... we shall see.

Eudora! Spock, wow, I know some people like it, but I could never get to liking that one.
