Doesn't seem to mention which "magazine" is making these claims.

Coldplay? Didn't Chris Martin punch out a photographer or two? They are automatically disqualified from the list.

This list is just as bad as one I saw last week, running down the author's choices for worst rock lyrics. He included Rush's "Xanadu", being completely ignorant of Coleridge.

By the by, totally agree with the Billy Corgan assessment. Always disliked Smashing Pumpkins, had a good laugh at the pathetic way he handled Stephen Malkmus' lyric in "Range Life".

How bout Liberace, Karen Carpenter's brother, THe Osmonds, Neil Sedaka, Pat Boone, the guy that exposed janet's boob - geez, I could go on all day.

James taylor a is great singer/songwriter... not my fav, but deserves more than this...

I get more balanced reporting from my local alternative paper.
