Now you too can have your VERY OWN Staples Easy Button

However there's no mention of what it actually does. Does it really make life easier?

Just because it has two clutches, shifts faster, uses a torque converter or has near-infinite gear ratios, requires less driver intervention and is more efficient doesn't make it better in my opinion.

I bought one after reading the Hackaday article, have disassembled it and took out the weights.
Haven't switched out the "voice box" yet.
Maybe it should play "5 o'clock somewhere".

One of my factories quoted on that project...I think I'll follow up and see if the order ever came through or if it went to a competitor.

Who says promotional products are worthless? ;)
