Hi all,

I just got a new computer at work and would like to finally install an ad blocker. Chrome's Flash Renderer is eating too much of my memory and Safari is beginning to chug too.

In the past, for Firefox, I've used Ad Block Plus [addons.mozilla.org]. Do they have a Safari or Chrome equivalent?

I use ClickToPlugin on Safari; it usually does enough of a trick of blocking all flash including adds. You can whitelist sites as well so you can automatically have Youtube load videos.

I don't actually have an ad blocker anymore, although there are times I wish I did.

Thanks MGS, does Ad Block allow you to easily choose which ads to block? I work at a company where I have to view our ads, so I need to exclude our stuff as well.

Gabester, I'll check out ClickToPlugIn. It's not just Flash ads that I'm trying to block but primarily. Does it also allow me to choose which servers to block?

The best ad blocker is the uninstallation of Flash. Works like a charm.
