and if so, what is the best application for a Leopard machine?

(Vuze no longer seems to work. I've not tried a torrent in a very long time but looking for some TV shows now)

Sure is...ahem...or so I've heard. I've also heard that an app called Transmission is very nice. Only heard of course. Never touch the stuff myself. Of course.

Not only alive, but every action against sites like TPB make it more popular.

Old versions of many torrent apps are not compatible with magnet-links, which are provided by the most popular sites nowadays.

I will not recommend a torrent client.

Although it makes no sense, even torrenting tv shows that air for free to the public -- unedited with the ads intact -- is a copyright violation and potentially a crime... and your torrents are traceable back to you for those "john doe" lawsuits that extort settle for thousands of dollars from "innocent infringers" every day.

Therefore, it would not be appropriate to promote torrenting of television shows in this forum. No matter that a simple Google search for a torrent client capable of downloading using magnet links would no-doubt be very fruitful.

I use Vuze regularly! It still works great!

On one of my two main computers. One the other one, for some reason, Vuze fails. I experimented with preferences, even reinstalled. No luck yet.

So, it could be a local issue, not Vuze's networks or Torrenting, which is alive and well.

I hear from students that Miro works well
