this weekend is Sales Tax Holiday in Georgia. I just chatted with Apple as to how they manage it. Here's the link they sent me good for all the states with Tax Holidays.

GA has a $1000 limit on tax free computers. Alabama's is $750 which pretty much limits you to a mac mini or maybe an 11" air. only one state seems to have no limit at all.

fisking Ohio is planning a 'back to school' tax holiday.. for next year. Computer limit is $750 as well. Nimrods. Guarantees kids will buy crappy WinBlows computers, and need a new one every 2-3 years.

$2500 limit here in MA this weekend, just don't have any major purchases lined up to use the tax holiday this year. Did use it a couple years ago to get my iMac, and my son used it for his Mac Pro.
