OK, so I hopping onto the iP5 train, please recommend a good case...

I kind of like what I have now, which is a refurbed Mophie backup battery case, but I'm thinking that such a case would simply add too much length to the already-longer iP5.

Anyone here have a case recommendation, and/or know which ones to avoid? TiA

Still love my Switcheasy Colors on my iP4. It's a silicone case and unlike most hard cases still looks new. The white case on a black phone looks great.

isn't the iP5 train a local.

you probably want to take the express.

On,

I checked out the lifeproof. I'll stick with my Griffin Survivor case.

I've had both (iPhone 4) and I feel in love with the LifeProof case after the first day. Completely dust proof (I didn't get that with the Survivor, despite the claims), as well as 'anything else proof' - I have tested it twice under water for extended periods of time.

The case also adds on very, very minimal to the phone - almost like it is just a shell/snap-on, but thicker than that, of course. I have dropped my phone six or seven times since I've had the case, above waist high, and have had no issues and the case has never been scuffed - just wipe off the 'concrete' mark.

The builtin screen protector is also of higher quality than that Griffin - no scratches (honestly) after several months of use. I am still amazed that is the case. The Griffin (I also had the Otterbox Defender before that) and Defender both easily accumlated scratches on the plastic protector and just became ugly after a while.

Just my thoughts.
