iPad Mini

Went in to the Apple Store today and looked at the iPad Mini. I really like it. Thinner than I expected, and it was really light. The screen looked good to me. I would trade my iPad2 for one.

I Agree. First new product I've seen in awhile that makes you want to pick it up. Sort of a "wow" factor. Although, in the end, I think I'd prefer to have the larger iPad screen for reading.

With a very compact smart phone that does fine as a music player my 4th gen iPod Touch has become superfluous very quickly... but I do have an occasional need for an entertainment device while traveling. Probably an iPad Mini in my future...

I'm on the fence about the display.

I'll hit the Apple Store on Monday to check it out. I may have to take one for the team to get the miniPadRetina shipping.

Wasn't it price point that took out the Retina display? Do you think the mini2 will have larger HD and Retina and bigger price?

just checked it out today. I like the size and the screen looks good. If we didn't have an iPad 2, I could imagine getting one of these.
