What do you have to change in your daily routine with DST?

I'll have to get to the gym thinking it's not as late as it may seem, and that means fooling myself to some degree to not start my night routine.

Hurts like a bastid...

Takes me about a week to reset my circadian clock. In the mean time, I've been getting up early, and going to be early. Guess I'll be healthy, wealthy, and wise (er).

BooBoo kitteh is having a very hard time adjusting to the new later feeding schedule. Lots of meow, meow, squeak, squeak, etc., repeat...

Nothing... it was already dark leaving work most days.

Nothing. 1 hour here or there has never affected me in any way.

Dog was licking my face at 5:45 AM, he didn't get the memo. So we walked in the dark this morning.
In general though I love the light in the morning, as I'm a morning girl.

Nothing really.

Oh, a side bonus: I have my alarm set to wake me at 5:31 every morning; it's my iPhone so there's no resetting. But my body likes to mess with me by waking me up at about 5:10 or so every day, so I look at the clock and get all flustered because I have to get up in xx minutes and thus have a hard time falling back asleep and, as soon as I do, the alarm goes off. Today I woke up at 4:10 instead, and smiled and went back to sleep for about an hour and a half.

(It's a simple pleasure; I love going to sleep and waking up around 2 or so realizing I still have several more hours to sleep.)

That's not good for your body. If your scheduled wake time is within 45 minutes of when you actually get up, do yourself a favor and just get up. Any sleep you might gain in those 20 minutes is going to be superficial and is not going to make you feel any more well rested; conversely, it will make you feel worse when your alarm finally goes off.

Listen to your body, not your alarm clock.

The problem with having a 3 year old is that they can't read clocks yet and you can't explain DST to them effectively so they wake up at the same time no matter what. It will take a while for his internal alarm clock to reset.

A second vote for the animal thing. Cats are wanting us to get up and going an hour earlier than the clock says. A few more days and they should be back in the rhythm.

Heard their hit the other day and thought, "why haven't I remembered these guys?"

Don't have that problem with our 4 year old. He's definitely NOT a morning person and he sleeps in on the weekends. Since he doesn't grasp DST yet, we put him to bed an hour "early" last night so that perhaps he wouldn't be as grumpy this morning. It sorta worked. He wasn't in quite as deep a sleep state when I went to wake him up.

Nothing. Advantage in that it gets a tad lighter during my 6am morning jaunt. Unfortuantely it has gotten quite a bit colder, earlier, this year so I may need to move to the stationary bike and treadmill before December.

I now drive to work in the dark and come home from work in the dark. It will be that way for another 2-3 months.

It means in the morning, we commute right into sunrise toward the east, and coming home, we commute directly into the sunset to the west. Sunglasses become mandatory.

The pups will not get another weekday hike or walk in until April. It's dark by the time we get home.
