She obviously knew it was stolen and was quick to snap it up for cheap. She got what she deserved.

Can you charge her with attempt to buy stolen property?

Texas has gas stations that are open full time ? Here in NYC you can only get ripped off on odd and even days (depending on the last digit of your license plate)

Tough to *prove* intent, so you'd have to count on a jury agreeing that it was reasonable and prudent to believe it stolen prior to buying. Not really worth the time and effort, I'd guess.
