My sister in Philly and I in Baltimore are both unable to connect to the internet. Our conputers both say everything is okay and we both are showing strong signals. This after a couple days of spotty service. I find it hard to believe we developed technical problems simultaneously with our equipment. Plus my iMac insists that all is well.

Very frustrating and kind of weird. Googling isn't showing me any news stories about Verizon.

Not verizon, but been having same trouble with AT&T. Started New Years eve around 10 PM. No service then slow then no service. Had to go back and clear all histories from iPhone, iPad and 2 Macs. Still not quite back to normal but better. North East Ohio

That's pretty interesting, cbelt.

Someone whose husband is in IT told me there have been some very aggressive dns attacks since New Years Eve but I don't really have the tech knowedge to know what that means, nor if that could be my problem.

Verizon FiOS here in Pittsburgh seems to be normal.

I dread asking Verizon for help. The only time I miss a landline is when I have to sit on hold forever. :-(

I don't know about problems with Verizon DSL. However, we do have intermittent connection issues with ATT.
