How is that any different than the human voters putting Florida State over ND back in '93 despite the fact that ND beat FSU?

Because that wasn't the last game of the season and FSU didn't lose to BC?

They forgot to turn off the expected TV rating effect. Thought there would be another game. A draws 15% audience B draws 5% audience
C draws 17% audience so C is ranked higher.

I was there, ND had nothing to give Alabama and was simply outplayed on both offense and defense. They were beat on the line, in the secondary and could not stop the run. ON the other end they could not run at all, I think they have about 50 yards rushing offense the whole game.
