need movies with psychotherapy in them...

I'm trying to put together a series of scenes of psychotherapy being done in film to show a class I am teaching. Most depictions of therapy are poor, so i'm looking for more genuine stuff. I also prefer therapy being done with children, but that is not totally necessary. Here's what i've come up with:

Good Will Hunting (probably the best example of therapy I've personally seen in a movie - except the part where he threatens his client physically winking smiley

Ordinary People

The Sixth Sense (a few scenes are good)

Any other suggestions?

Harold and Maude

150 INT. PSYCHIATRIST'S OFFICE - DAY

The psychiatrist sits at his desk. A picture of Sigmund
Freud is over his right shoulder. He too seems to be
addressing the nation.

PSYCHIATRIST
There's no doubt, Harold, this
impending marriage adds another
chapter to an already fascinating
case. But let us examine it, and
I think you'll realize there is a
simple Freudian explanation for
your romantic attachment to this
older woman. It is known as the
Oedipus Complex, a very common
neurosis, particularly in this
society, whereby the male child
subconsciously wishes to sleep
with his mother.

Of course, what puzzles me,
Harold, is that you want to
sleep with your grandmother.

Go here: [us.imdb.com]

... in the Keywords field, try "therapy" (gets 262 hits), or "psychotherapy" (gets 47 hits).

Hollywood's idea of and depiction of Psychotherapy is not something I would expose children to. Particularly Woody Allen. What are you thinking?

If we're doing tv then the child psychologist sketch on SNL with Gilda Radner has got to be tops.

"The Sopranos" has a ton of therapy scenes.
"The Jacket"

Back in my psych class they made us watch "The Breakfast Club". There's a casual group therapy session in that movie.

The Soprano's is actually an excellent suggestion. Tom Cruise, the pseudo-actor, should be shot.

How about:

K-Pax with Kevin Spacy - excellent therapy movie.

Prince of Tides?
Girl Interrupted
TV Show: Intervention?
Dr Phil when he was doing bits on Oprah had *some* good techniques
Awakenings
RENT - even tho it's a muscial - it does have some "therapy" scenes.
Poltergeist III - horrible movie - but a good example of why some therapists shouldn't be therapists.

Help me MacResource users, you're my only hope!
