Seems the iPod factory conditions were not really that bad ...

And a security risk that really isn't Apple's problem ...

Guess it's back to the drawing board!

Thank you for posting those links! I've probably heard half a dozen pc weeinies bloviating about the wireless hack, so this is good to know. Of course, this followup will get approximately .002% of the news coverage the hack got.

Ahhh. In the hack story, it is carefully worded that it was a third party card that was the culprit. I have heard rumors (maybe read them here? ) that the hackers found the vulnerability using the airport chip, but that Apple leaned heavily on them to use a third party card for the media demonstration.

Read the article again. Please make sure I'm right and did not miss anything, but the wording does nothing to clear the airport card. It merely states that it was not used in the demonstration that day. No where does it state that the hackers tried to use the airport card and failed...

Hmmmmm. I'm still a bit concerned.

OK jdc, I stand corrected, though not from this article. Don't need to get confrontational. =)

Here's another article that out and out states, nothing was done with the apple hardware...
