We have 5 people on a Family iPhone plan. (Unlimited) AT&T

Grandaughter lives with us and wants/needs a phone. We have an extra 4 or 4S.

Can you add another person to this plan?..... We never use the minutes, and they Roll OVer and then OFF.

Thanks.

We dont want to lose the unlimited, would shared lose that?

I think you can only if you switch to the shared Data plan

I would just get her a Pay as you go SIM and use it on Tmobile. Should be $30 with no data, or $40 with 30MB of data at 4G and limited speeds for the rest.

How much extra would it cost to add her to the plan?
There are lots of prepaid options for an AT&T iPhone 4/4s.

I asked AT$T and the answer was, "No." And we are 700 minutes total on the plan, unlimited text and 200 MBs data/iPhone.

Check out H2O wireless for a prepaid option. With H2O, the phone does not need to be unlocked. If you unlock the phone, you can use TMboile, as suggested, or several other prepaid options that use TMobile.

Word of warning, 3G+ only if T-Mobile has refarmed spectrum in the OP's area.
