Apple's web page that lets you see remaining warranty time has been off line for several days now...

This old standard has been offline since sunday. [selfsolve.apple.com]

One used to be able to enter a serial number for an apple device and see the warranty status of the device.

Anyone know if there is another page where this info can be looked up?

do you have an apple ID? You could try signing into your support account and seeing if you can get to anything that way.

Really? I get this:

Error 503--Service Unavailable
From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:
10.5.4 503 Service Unavailable

The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. The implication is that this is a temporary condition which will be alleviated after some delay. If known, the length of the delay may be indicated in a Retry-After header. If no Retry-After is given, the client SHOULD handle the response as it would for a 500 response.

Note: The existence of the 503 status code does not imply that a server must use it when becoming overloaded. Some servers may wish to simply refuse the connection.

Also opens fine on my iPad. Try relaunching your browser.

Saint Cloud, Minnesota, where the weather is wonderful even when it isn't.

Hmmm... puzzling... its seems confined to FF. I thought I tried it on Chrome, but it works just fine there now. I've restarted FF earlier today...

perhaps a cookie problem?
