The problem is I'm pretty much technologically illiterate. I've been compiling videos of the kid's final HS baseball season with the idea of producing a disk to distribute to players and families at seasons end.

I need to reduce all these hours to include brief vid slices of each player with maybe a few outrageous plays and stuff thrown in. It's not a highlights vid since most of the season was comprised of lowlights, it's a compilation of profiles of graduating seniors and other players.

So. Since I've never before edited videos and the only editing tool I seem to have is some sort of snip feature in QuickTime 10.0 what would the suggestions be?

The school sports banquet is set for 5/22 If I'm to get this done It'll need to be edited and submitted for school approval by 5/17 with copies burned by the 20th.
