I still find it hard to believe that there are that many shows on TV.

I enjoyed CSI:NY....

All I can say about 90210 is "about time... again...".

Most of the rest of those I don't think I've even heard of, much less watched, so I can't say if they were a loss to humanity or not.

I liked The New Normal, but it had probably run its story line to the end.

I liked Go On and The New Normal. Many shows on that list I've never heard of and others I thought were gone long ago. smiling smiley

Of that list, I only saw "Last Resort", but it too succumbed to the "bad-guy-last-week-good-guy-this-week" syndrome that seems to infect every fantasy drama these days. Even "Once Upon A Time" suffers from this; I expect a Disney Villain to stay a Disney Villain.

I am sorry to see Vegas go. Especially the blonde.

Golden Boy was different in a good way, but no strong stories.

Clever. I would have gone with "Busted." for Vegas.

As the only person in America who liked "Whitney" I was sorry they moved it to a time slot which conflicted with a show I liked more. Oh, well.

I liked "Smash", too. It's junk but it's the kind of junk that I enjoy once a week. I knew they wanted to get rid of it when they moved it to Saturday night, so I'm not surprised it got the axe.

I'll miss Vegas.

And Body of Proof, but only for Jeri Ryan.

No wonder Community got renewed...it's the best of what NBC's got left.

Other than a few minutes here and there while first turning on the TV, I have never seen any of those shows except CSI: NY.

I was still DVRing CSI: NY, although honestly I was thinking of ditching it. I'm almost an entire season behind and if it doesn't get better I might delete the rest of the episodes.

Other than a couple of dramas, and a few sitcoms, isn't pretty much all programming on the networks either reality or glorified game shows?

And is there a single channel on cable that isn't suffering from "channel drift" (i.e., losing sight of what it set out to be; e.g., Arts & Entertainment Network, MTV, SciFi Channel, History, etc.)

Who has time to follow several TV shows a week? I don't.

I'm lucky if I catch an entire episode of Bob's Burgers... VERY lucky, that show is FUNNY!

I didn't realize Smash was on the list. I really enjoyed the first part of the first season but it kind of fell apart from there. I've watched all of this season, but they just lost the whole focus of the show.

I think they panicked under threat of imminent cancellation and began throwing everything against the wall to see what would stick. They were even changing people's personalities, which was really annoying to me. Apparently they were being advised which characters to kill off, which characters to make single, even to get rid of Debra Messing's scarves. You can't have a good show run by network executives and committees. I was enjoying it anyhow but you could tell the writers had lost their way.

Was hoping they'd get Smash back on the rails. I liked Whitney.

All of James Hibberd's snarkiness aside, all of the shows mentioned + it's surviving brethren was 100 percent free television. I am actually thankful for that.

I have not seen any of them. I saw snippets of Golden Boy, but missed the beginning of the series and also the beginning of the few shows i saw parts of, so I couldn't get into it. Which is fine. I'm down to one network show that I watch regularly.

we liked the first season, but this season it was weak.

does this mean that either time tunnel or the avengers are gonna be re-broadcast?

My wife is a fan of Body of Proof. The only other one I could somewhat care a little bit about was CSI:NY. I tried Golden Boy, and while the concept was intriguing, I could never get into it.

I'm can't believe Comcast-NBC continues to produce & air "Rock Center".

I have to amend that; I forgot about Touch. I'm still watching and only about six episodes behind. I really liked the show the first season but it's not nearly as good in the second season.

I agree. But they were both critically panned (especially Whitney). Does not explain the cancellation, just means we have bad taste smile smiley
