Plant Identification Help Needed

Hi,

My mom sent the pictures below of some plants in her yard. She just moved into the house about a year ago, so she's unfamiliar with what was planted there. She lives near Akron, OH.

Let me know if you have any guesses about what you see in the pictures.

#1) This picture shows some kind of fungus (maybe) growing on a plant. Any idea what the fungus (?) is? I'm not sure what the plant is that it's growing on, either.

#2) Another picture of the same fungus on another of the same kind of plant.

#3) This might be easier....a plant with pretty red flowers.

#4) Any guesses about any of the flowers seen in this picture?

#5) I guess there's a bush/plant on the left with yellow flowers, and then some flowers at front right. Sorry the picture is a bit washed out.

#6) More of the yellow flower bush/plant, and some soft leafed plant (which we think is lamb's ear).

#7) The blue flowers? Any ideas?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

I would venture to guess that 1 and 2 are probably some sort of viburnum. Number 3: azalea Number 4: the tallest flowers are iris, and the white ones are daisies.

The shorter Blue flower in pic 4, might be a blue coreopsis

Disease might be powdery mildew

The red flowers are definitely azalea
The tall purple flower in pic 4 is a bearded iris.

#7 looks like a cornflower, maybe bachelor button

#3 azalea

#1 possibly powdery mildew

the low yellow flower looks like a tickseed (coreopsis) but it's too short and the flowers don't have 8 petals

I think the first two are physocarpus [www.google.com] 'diablo', a medium sized shrub to 6-8' prone to powdery mildew.
