Gigabit Ethernet 1.5GB RAM limit

everymac.com says:

This model accommodates 2.0 GB of RAM, but the MacOS can use 1.5. I take this to mean that OS9 can only use 1.5GB.

So I can safely run my Gigabit Ethernet with 2GB since I am only running OS X, right?

Under OS 9.x - anything over 1.5GBs is locked out allocated, but unused. Doesn't cause any issues, just doesn't do anything for OS 9.

Under OS X - you get the full 2.0GBs to utilize to it's fullest.
