My mom has a 2008 CTS, was similar miles. It is a wonderful car, and it seriously gets with it.
I am currently driving it, while my car is in the shop. Man, this thing corners and drives very well. I'm used to sitting up more, in an SUV type car, but once you're in, it's great.

Previously, I've driven her from Sacramento to Arizona in it, and it's great for the long haul.

When you fold-down the rear seats, there is also ample space.

If the price is right, and you need a car, I think you'd love it. You know you already want it.

Great car and gentle mileage, but if '$xx,0000.00' = $50,000, then I would say to pass.

Hard to give a full opinion, on a car, without that variable included, but go with your gut if the price is right. I don't think the model year is in question on this.

But company cars - at least cars of big companies - would have been moved out long before 5 years.

Program I'm familiar with had executives driving cars for 6 months to a year, maintained by the company the whole time, then cars were sold at a very good discount to either the employee who'd put in the order for it originally, or offered to the general employee base.
All of them were out of the company's system before two years had passed.
