Not the fastest these days, but for $475 not a bad deal. At least it already comes with 8 GB of RAM, increasing the amount would be relatively expensive. No mention was made of which GPU, so probably has the base GT2600.

Based on the specs, it looks like an Early 2008 model, the same machine I have and use daily. Great machine! Not necessarily the fastest beat on the block but far from underpowered and very easy to upgrade. Definitely a solid machine. I'd grab it at that price.

I really have a hard time swallowing the 2008 part, regardless if its a MP or not.

IF you really needed 4 internal bays, maybe.

But that $500 mini from last week is probably faster and adding big USB 3 storage is cheap. As a designer, Id rather have the mini than the MP, even running the entire Adobe Suite.

That's the same model I have used virtually 24/7 for over 4 years. Rock solid. Good price.

At least you know what you're getting, as opposed to the "Generic PC Box OF Crap" the local GW sells.

They don't even open one up for display.
