Credit cards apparently needing to kiss consumer heiny again

From Citi:
Dear Black,
When you tell us your ideas and concerns, we listen. We want to share an update on some changes we made to continue to provide better service for you.
Fees are something we all try to avoid and we are working to determine where they can be eliminated. You will no longer be charged an expedited payment fee if you need to make a last minute payment over the phone. We also removed the statement copy fee for past billing statement requests.
In addition, we want you to have flexibility to pay your account. When you use our AutoPay option, you can arrange to pay your minimum amount due, full monthly balance or other amount that you choose.
You can learn about this and more on my blog post. Please continue to give us your feedback. We promise to keep listening and working hard to make your experience everything you expect from Citi.

Is this regular policy, or something they did because you pushed back? Either way is "OK" by me.

They're not eliminating fees, they're just moving them somewhere else.

Just don't click on links... Of course y'all not to that anyway. I got a strange one from Amex yesterday, them spamming boys made it look right, but, nope. No clicking from me. I initiate ALL contacts, all others are considered an invasion into my life, phone, email, door bell, etc. Ye ain't getting in.

If idiots could fly, this place would be an airport. And I'd be a TSA agent.

Actually, I have to say my experience with them over the past few decades has been pretty consistently great.
