Is there two way traffic on that road, or is it one way during specified time periods?

2 way
but it can get interesting when two busses approach one of the 11 hairpin turns from opposite directions , especially the real tight ones at the top. More so if you are sitting on a bus that is backing up around a turn to let another bus by.

The bigger issue is the people who drive it that are scared to death. There used to be drivers that would drive your car up or down for you. I don't know if this service still exists as they've improved the road significantly over the last 40+ years.

Every city has at least one.

Also went to Trollveggen and waited an hour and a half for the clouds to clear to see a little bit more than just the bottom few yards of the tallest cliff face in Europe but they didn't clear.
