Dissappointed in Apple's new products Date: September 10, 2013 12:01PM |
Granted I wasn't expecting much, and there's not really anything I need at the moment-- but still-- what a yawner. I'm barely even motivated to find out more about any of the products.

Yeah, but the likely $550 premium priced 5C is plastic.
It looks like all the 5C 'Phones are plastic.
I felt the 3GS felt a little cheap, but I think the design of the 5C is nicer and I really like the yellow version. I'll have to see it at the Store, but I think that it won't feel particularly cheap unless you just don't like plastic.
It will scratch, though. Clear protection would be a must for me.

To be fair, part of that was the design choice of Apple, not an inherent limitation of the material.

I'm not entirely sure I like the new colors. They remind me too much of something else...

I will offer but a small defense. My fanboyishness didn't wear off until late 2010 into 2011. Pretty good flag waving run for just over a decade. While a Mac user/owner prior, I didn't get the fever until I bought a 2000 G3 iMac.
