I tried everywhere Friday, let it go yesterday, then walked in to the Palo Alto Apple Store around 1PM and walked out with a 64gb slate gray 5s.

I would have liked a silver or gold, but figured it wasn't that big a deal. I usually buy a bunch of colored cases (to match my outfits, I'm kind of a girly girl) so the color is kind of a push.

I'm liking it a lot so far!

They had a lot more. I was there playing for an hour or better, when I left, they still had them. It seems everywhere else was out, but they had them there. I was right on the verge of ordering online, but I really wanted it for my upcoming trip to Disneyland.

I LOVE the camera in the 5s, this sucker is fast!

I'll call Palo Alto and Pleasanton and see if they still have that flavor.

I can't order online, but it might be a nice trip.

The Stanford store will be on the list, too. I'd like to check that out.

On Saturday, all the peninsula stores were out, but I just took a chance on Palo Alto, glad I did!
