Not tyring to defend 7 (I have no devices running it right now) but Im sure I could find "roundup of _______________ user complaints" on anything in the world.

ugh: just saw this same exact article on the front of CNN too. Sucks to be #1.

Number Two Son Nathan has a complaint:

That inside list in the reminders app: There is no way to organize tasks by their due date. You can manually organize them, however there should be an option to view a list with tasks organized by date.

There should also be the option to make a project with subtasks. This is not possible in iOS 7.

He was hoping for these features with the new version.

article is a re-hash of everything else out there.

Hence the use of "roundup" in the subject line.

but Im sure I could find "roundup of _______________ user complaints" on anything in the world.

An impressive skill that would come in handy for those who don't follow tech day to day and wonder if they should upgrade yet.

For those who don't, a roundup would seem helpful.

I've been getting a lot of login windows on my 5s but none on my 4s. It may have something to do with the Touch ID and the way I pick up the 'Phone, but I'm not sure.

Other that disagreement with some of the design cues and implementations, no other problems for me with 7.

I think the Reminders App changes are a step backwards. Meh to the changes in Notes.

For me, the changes are mostly benign. Different, not so much better or worse. The reduced contrast remains an issue. Some places are harder to read. I was surprised that Home screen app icons and especially when they're in folders are noticeably harder to discern.

The only complaint that I'm presently concerned with is the iMessages bug.

I'm hesitant to upgrade and gain some nice benefits (e.g. the call blocking feature) if I'm likely to be hit with the iMessage sending bug. Mine is iPhone 5 on AT&T.

I wish I could get past the esthetics of the design. Different strokes for different folks, I know; but for me personally, iOS7 is the worst-looking thing I've seen come out of Apple ever, and I've been a fan since 1984. We have two iPads in the house, one upgraded and one not. Whenever I pick up the iOS7 one it practically gags me. OTOH, owner of said iPad has not been complaining.

Is there anybody here who hated the iOS7 look to begin with, but has grown to prefer it?

It's the first time Apple has followed the lead of google and microsoft as far as aesthetics, at least that I can remember. Otherwise, I can barely tell the difference between io7 and 6 on our ipad 2. Seems to run well, and 3rd party apps were updated quickly. kj.

16G iPhone 4 here. No major complaints and now that most of my high-use apps are iOS7-ified to use the bold font setting, I have a more usable phone than during iOS6. Yes, that means it's better.

I would have to say, the iMessage thing was broken for me, seems fixed after the update and a restart. Also, calendar is terrible, hard to see and definitely not an upgrade. The overall decrease in visiblility/contrast is not really an improvement either, even with the tweaks. So far, the only real improvements that impact me are the fix of "find iPhone" so it can't be turned off and the ability to block a number.

Zero problems with iMessage. THe only issue is that I can't log out of Facebook. I tell it to log out, and it says "Logged in as..." I quit the app, and when I get back to it, it's still logged in. I just delete the app when my daughter is using it.
