Any reason iWeb produced website doesn't work on PC IE7?

It's no professional website, but my first attempt at low-scale, low-budget, freelance webdesign. [mudsockindiana.com] For some reason it works fine on all platforms and browsers, except for IE7 on PC. Made with iWeb 1.1.1

Not sure if this could have anything to do with the problem, but it's a good practice not to have any spaces in your file and folder names. As you can see in the address bar when your site loads, the spaces become "%20's".

What exactly happens when you try to load the site in Windows?? Nothing at all? Is it *just* IE 7 on Windows? Other Windows browsers are okay?

I usually put an underscore "_" instead of spaces.

Same here. It's safer adding an underscore since the web structure is very Unix-like and Unix doesn't use spaces in file names.

The space idea really comes from the Windows world. I'm surprised that it doesn't work in IE7.

Are you using IE7 RC1? Other than the title color, it looks the same as Firefox.

Hmm... It's a website for mostly older people, so I'm not sure what stage of IE they're using. I know the %20 rule, but I'm still trying to figure out iWeb. I think when I was first setting things up it wouldn't let me name a page/site differently than it linked to. Meaning, I couldn't name the site Mudsock Indiana and have the address MudsockIndiana or Mudsock_Indiana. Very annoying. But, I'm not up to speed on Dreamweaver yet and could get the site up quickly with iWeb. Guess I'm paying the price now smiling smiley

Considering IE7 is a separate download you have to go get, I doubt many people have it.

Well, I was told by several viewers of the website that it works fine under ie6, but 7 had issues. I don't know. Maybe it's actually something else causing the problem.

I get 3 1/2 sets of 2 diamonds randomly on the left side of the first page. Using MDD G4 1.25 dualie and Safari 2.0.4 and Mac OS 10.4.7

I get some gibberish in the top-left of the gallery pages. That's in all browsers.

I went through the site some more in IE7 RC1, seems fine.

Ok, thanks everyone! It must be some of the *ahem* senior citizens reporting back to my client about having troubles.
