Everything worked out as they said it would? I'm kinda confused. I expected the bill to be wrong or something. But, it's not.
I wanted to upgrade my TV package, but online there wasn't anything worth buying. It was all too expensive. using the comcast cares email address didn't help. Talking to them via chat on their site didn't help. The stuff that came in the mail was for new customers only...
Then I got another offer in the mail. The front side said "upgrade" and the fine print said "new customers only." So I thought that maybe Comcast just errantly puts that disclaimer on all their stuff. I called. The guy asked me to describe the offer. He said they can do that. $40/mo for digital starter, for 12mo, no contract. I confirmed and reconfirmed all that. He said there's another promotion to go to digital preferred for another $10/mo. I confirmed the length, no contract... and it was all okay.
This was over a month ago. So I go to review my bill today and guess what I find? I already gave it away, but the bill is exactly as the rep said it would be.
The only technical issue I run into is sometimes a channel or two doesn't come in. Not sure why.
