Celtics won four in a row after losing the same, welcome to the bottom tier of the league. Question now is who tanks the best to get to the lottery. Rumor has it Danny Ainge waits in the locker room waiting to kneecap anyone who plays over and above what's expected of them.

Danny Ainge is a very talented class act in my book. I am a genuine
admirer of his talent from stem to stern *(:>*

That's interesting since most of the league disliked him with an intensity that rivaled the dislike of big guys like Bird, Magic or Michael Jordan. Ainge was always an afterthought, one who caught in the craw of opponents afterward, as he taunted them up and down the court.

Mr. Congeniality he wasn't but he did know how to play the game.

Danny Ainge is a 100%er no matter what he does . He was and is a very talented athlete .
I am sure he did not kiss a lot of butt *(:>*

MIchael Jordan could only wish to have the dual sports talent of Danny Ainge . . .

I thought that at first. But now, the Lakers have too many weapons. They're going to be hella competitive this year. Swaggy P.

We should have never let them get away but after Mikan retired interest waned. At least we should have kept the Laker name. Then you'd be cheering the L.A. Smog.

BTW, Mikan's teammate, Vern Mikkelsen, died this week.

The way the Lakers are going this year they might want to consider bringing back John Kundla to coach the rest of the season.

Nice call Vision. (Chick Hearn Night) I actually met him in Maui, Hawaii. He was very modest and really friendly.

His absence from Basketball is very cruel . . . . . and unforgettable *(:>*

That's cool man. I grew up not too far from the Forum and every year the Lakers would have kind of like a Fan Fest. All us school kids would get to go and Chick was the host. They would give us Lakers tickets and all kinds of swag. Chick was the best but what is most interesting, as much as he is associated with the Lakers, he was never a "homer." He never openly rooted for the Lakers.

He wouldn't have had that raspy voice without two pacs of Luckies a day. It's a wonder he lasted as long as he did. He was fun to listen to and objective as anyone, if you were a Celtics fan.

He named the Detroit Pistons front court as McFilthy and McNasty. Like I said he was completely objective.

He was a perfect fit. It was interesting hearing a game from his perspective, which I wasn't all that privvy to. It was almost a different sport when he was calling a game. He was great.

Havlicek steals the ball will go down with the description of Bobby Thompson's home run as one of the great moments in non TV sport broadcasting.

Absolutely, you wouldn't think he'd have vocal cords after that one.

Indeed the Trailblazers do and they play tonight too. Here is a good site to find out whatever you want to know about your favorite team.

Someone told me the Pacers are 12-1. Can't believe they blew the perfect season already.
