I took this one several years ago--and was using a low quality digital camera--but I've always thought it was kind of nice:

I hate that they paved over the brick roads that obviously are under there.

That and the cars ruin what could have been a shot that is timeless.

(try it again sometime, but get down on the street at rail level. seriously!)

Good point. I was actually in my car and pulled into the trolley "lane" in order to snap the pic. It would have been great without the cars. My newer camera (Canon G3) would take a much better picture.

I agree, it is a shame the brick is covered. But it does make for a smoother ride.

I hate cobblestone streets for driving, but they are great in pedestrian areas or side streets.
