I don't have prime, but I've order 4 items over the last month that ship from Amazon and so far it has taken 5 days for each one to get them on their way.

Some of the things could have been dropped in an envelope and sent through the mail.

I know it is busy this time of year, but it seems like Amazon is slipping a bit.

I've got a watch band, something that could be sent in the mail, ordered on Dec 7, that still hasn't shipped. It is shipped from Amazon's warehouse.

I've got eBay sellers who put the product in the mail the next day.

First it was $35 for free shipping. Now, it is wait, wait, wait to ship.

To be honest, I could have gone to the mall and got a band and next time I will.

This has always been my experience with their FSSS.

The transit time isn't necessarily long, but they take their sweet time processing the shipment.

We don't have Prime and my wife ordered a PC game on 12/4 (estimated delivery was 12/16), it shipped on 12/5 via FedEx SmartPost and was delivered on 12/7.

We have Prime and everything has been very quick this year, 2-3 days max.

I have Prime and a lot of my shipments arrive the next day via Lasership. Living near the Dulles VA warehouse also helps.
