The tree is up

I am not a fan of Christmas things being done too early so we usually only put the tree up in time for my wife's hosting of her quilting group's festive lunch. That is happening on Monday so last night it went up. Up until last year we have had a real tree and in fact we usually made each one last at least 3 or 4 years before it got too big and was planted permanently outside. Last year we thought we would try an artificial tree to see if it would help with less mess, it still drops "leaves" but is much tidier and looking at the cost of real trees this year we will be "in profit" by the third year.

Last night.

This morning.

Lovely tree, but I'm green with envy over the books and built-ins.

Your tree l@@ks GREAT~!~ There are no live trees available in the RPI it seems.
I hope to find something creative for Lilian's Family and or perhaps I need to
understand their traditions better.
