Call from Microsoft Security
Posted by: Mr645

"Do you understand that I am calling from Microsoft Security?"

Ok, it's hard to understand you with your heavy accent

"Ok, I am from Microsoft Security and I am calling because your computer is slow because it is being hacked. We have monitored hackers at your computer by the IP address"

hmm, what IP address would I happen to have?

"your IP address that is being hacked is 123.69"

And

"And what sir, your being hacked, I can help stop the hackers right now"

"Funny, since I don't have a computer!"

Exactly the call my MIL got one evening when was there doing some
son in law type helping out. The phone rang and i could tell my MIL
was confused by the call, eventually she asked the caller to hold so she
could put her son in law on the phone.
As soon as he spoke I knew it was a scam. I let him talk for a minute.
He said he was from Comcast and needed to have me get our computer
online to check blah, blah blah.
I asked him if his eyes were brown cuz he was so full of $hit. Then I
stated that this call has scam written all over it as this household does
not even have a bleeping computer .
I'm sure that only had him move on to the next call, but I felt better saying it.

You should have implied that you are a consultant to the NSA or that they are currently monitoring your computer and phone lines.

Good one, with an authoritative voice. Usually I think of those things 5 minutes later sad smiley

I've gotten several of those calls, and I've messed with the caller each time.

Such craziness!

Yea, I did too, but I was being racist and obnoxious, nothing proper to post here LOL.

Started off with "So you know nothing about IP addresses, perhaps you can tell me a good curry recipe? Come on, you must know a good one, I can smell it from here.

Just kept going from there for a few minutes, got bored and hung up
