Well the mothership store is 2 miles away, but otherwise my favorite is the new Stanford store which is a 15 min drive away.

Here in Central Luzon the closest one is 30-minutes away at most.

Multiple stores 2 hours away in Manila.

I have only purchased 1 iMac here so far as prices are much higher than USA prices.
Last year N-OS X-tasy shipped my MacBook Pro to me. There was an easy $500
savings at that time.

Here is a comparison, USA vs Philippine pricing from USA Apple Online Store and
Apple Philippine Online store.

p94,000 = $2100

No repairs here so far . . . Hopefully my next iMac will be shipped here from the US or
come with Ethan this summer

The only Apple Store in this part of the state is about 1.5 hours away from me in a very popular open-air shopping center which is always crazy crowded. A bit of a pain to park, but they have been great about repairing my iMac (a 2009 model, heavier than the current generation—I use a folding hand cart to drag it into the store).

There are 3 or 4 other stores about 2.5 – 3 hours to the south.

Nearest is 8 hours r/t and a $45 bridge toll + $8 road toll + gas (200 mi one way => 18 gal r/t (68 liter @$1.30/liter => ~$88)). Can't justify the expense.

$45 bridge toll? Where is this??? If you don't mind telling.

Prince Edward Island. The nearest Apple store is in Halifax. The Confederation Bridge toll is $43.75 (or is it $44.25?). It is sufficiently large to discourage casual off-island/out-of-province travel.

Confederation Bridge tolls are charged based on a vehicle’s axle-count and are calculated for the round-trip, regardless of the user’s initial point of entry to Prince Edward Island. Bridge tolls are collected when leaving Prince Edward Island at the toll plaza in Borden-Carleton, PE. Cash, Interac, and all major credit cards are accepted.

Confederation Bridge tolls are tax-exempt.

2014 Toll Rates
Vehicles
First 2 Axles $45.00
Each Additional Axle $7.50
Motorcycle $18.00

Shuttle Service
Pedestrian $4.25
Cyclist $8.50

The toll is charged only when leaving PEI.

Basically, you can check in any time you like, but you can never leave.

We live about 15 minutes from the only location in the city, but I prefer going to Micro Center (about 20 minutes away) for both official and unofficial Mac hardware.

I have no idea where the nearest Apple store is, so I am guessing that means it is far away. Going to the Apple store is not something that folks would do around here.

Easy, I took the bus to the mall to pickup my MacBook and took the bus home!
