I've been listening to iTunes Radio for a while now, but for the first time tonight, I heard, "you're listening to iTunes Radio." Is this new, or have I just missed it before?

It's not new. Ads for iTunes radio are the ones I've heard most frequently.

In fact, I've also heard a few on the radio in the car that have reminded me that I'd probably be better off switching to iTunes Radio or some other stream.

Are you an iTunes Match subscriber? If you are and you are still hearing ads, check to see that you have iTunes Match turned on on your iOS device (I'm assuming you were listening on iOS) or in iTunes on your computer.

Early on, I was hearing ads every now and then and realized that iTunes Match was somehow getting turned off on my iOS device and that's when ads started appearing.
