Anyway, it definitely looks legit...looks like he partitioned the drive and installed 10.4.6 on one partition and Windows XP on the other.

Now, I know you can install Windows on a Mac (Boot Camp, Parallels, etc.), but I didn't know one could install Mac OS X on a Windows machine.

Is this easy to do or did he have to do a lot of "hacking" to get it installed?

Anybody know?

Yes, it's possible. A hacked (and illegal) version of OS X is needed and only select hardware configurations are compatible. Not everything works as nice as on Mac hardware of course. I built a PC using a G4 box almost a year ago and run XP and Mac OS X on it. Not as cool as the intel Macs running either platform though...

don't bother editing, you'll just ruin BGnR's day, and then we'd be stuck w/ only elmo3 for our dose of criticism. we need them both healthy and happy, and on top of their game in order for the forum to survive. I've heard that such free market competition is good for our capitalist society...
