Mac Mini ebay works like a champ

I bought a BIN (Buy It Now) Mac Mini for next to nothing. Plopped my old HD and RAM (5 GB) I had lying around in it. Works perfectly. Installed Mavericks.

I almost posted it here, but since my last thread seemed to show lackluster interest, I bought it instead this time. But if anyone wants/needs a Mac Mini for cheap, I'll keep posting. I watch everyday.

I don't really need a Mac Mini...
But I'm just curious enough to ask what, in your mind, "next to nothing" is?
Because, you see, for the right price, I could FIND a use for a Mac Mini... grinning smiley

That's odd that the price dropped THAT much on a still usable model. I paid $400.00 last year for that mini loaded up (8gb, SSD), and that was a deal compared to CL, etc. Big improvement over MDD G4.

Sold a Mac mini server model of the same vintage that mini9 snagged off eBay for $220ish last year. No upgrades, stock in box. Crazy isn't it that a similarly specced non server would go for $50, even without RAM and drive. I have extra drives and might even some RAM (I'd have to check). Either way, for less than $150, I could have a pretty solid system.

Plus $129.99 shipping? With no RAM or hard drive installed?
In "unknown condition" with no power supply?
There's something missing from the story here.
