Who's NOT here?
Posted by: wave rider
Date: December 12, 2005 01:43PM
Seems like the gang's all here, who's not?

From DM

Haikuman
Shamani
LafeyettePete
Slash
Samintexas
RGM
Teela Brown
To name a few or are they under new nicknames?

From AS

Matt
Fred N.
Jimbo-C
GOS
GHR
And so on...

Just wondering (or wandering) as usual...

I haven't seen Chas_m2 yet.

ALthough his responses were somewhat harsh at times, the wealth of information and opinion he spewed was one of the things that made "the other place" cool.

He was the Cliff Clavin of Dealmac (but his opinions and facts were mostly true and correct).

I e-mailed RAMd®d with the links, but he seemed non-commital about the idea. Haven't seen him post yet.

Dave's here...I was locked out for a while because they apparently sent a nonfunctional activation email. The question now is, which of this multiplicity of forums do I post to? Appleswitcher will continue to be my main posting forum, but now there are all these other forums to choose from. I want less choice, not more!

You too.

I remember an exchange we had about kids and some of their problems some years ago. I was the at the front of my learning curve then.

You went out of your way to be helpful. Nice to be back in the same room, if I occassionally bite it's not really me, it's the Otto influence.

Hi Skylane - rest assured you a have been missed too

I've been emailing as many as I can - about 10 folks today when I had time

I saw you on a DM post earlier and made a mental note to add you to the list

Welcome - and if you notice anyone else missing please extend an invitation

I have been doing so in a non bashing DM way - just telling them where we are

Thanks for stopping in and make yourself comfortable

(I can cross you off my to do e-mail list now too) :-)

We can edit out posts. No time limit here (that I know of . . . )

You, however, do have to supply your own "spill checker bot" . . .

Zoids been here. He expressed some discomfort about it since all the help from there after Katrina. Sounded like he was kinda straddling the fence.
