I listened to the story on NPR this morning. He butchered all those books because he has "expensive tastes." He's disgusting.

The map he stole from Yale was in a book from the 1600s. He cut the map out with an X-Acto blade. I hope he gets a very big Bubba for a roommate.

Yeah, the article mentions his "expensive tastes". It sounds like quite a few people are unhappy about the short sentence. He'll probably serve far less than 3 and a half years.
