Grabbing another cup of coffee as a great match gets underway. Has potential to be the most memorable of the tournament.

There is so little I know about Soccer. Like the Orange guy just kicked the ball out of bounds on purpose. Why do they get the ball back?

The "orange guy" (Belgium) may have been the last to kick it, but it would have touched an opposing player on the way out. It isn't who kicked it last, it is who touched it last (even by accident).

Why kick it out? It is a defensive move in order to allow more defensive players to get into position.

I'm surprised this far in that the momentum has been so one-sided.

But a lot can happen in 20 minutes.

With two starters out, I don't see Brazil getting past Germany. My guess is an Argentina v Germany final. That should be fun as well.

We have a close fiend who moved here from Buenos Aires about 6 years ago. She really gets into the game, even at home with a painted face, running outside to scream GOAAAAAAAAL, etc.. Oh, and she is a 64-year-old high school teacher.

I can definitely see Brazil getting past Germany, but it's always exciting when those two soccer powerhouses meet up.
