Where to stay in/near Bodega Bay?

My family is going to visit some friends near Santa Rosa early next week (not weekend). We think we'd like to spend a day or two out in Bodega or Tomales Bay. I've never been there.

Any recommendations on where to stay with pre-teen kids? Someplace nice to hang-out and lounge around but not a four-seasons style resort.

Thanks all. I wanted to stay at Bodega Bay Lodge but don't have any single rooms available for 2 adults+2 kids. Good to hear that it's a great place.

Thanks for the restaurant recs too.
