I was watching old VHS tapes and a few episodes came up. Still funny, in my opinion.

I remember Robert Blake in Baretta, Robert Stack in The Untouchables, Robert Taylor in The Detectives, Robert Conrad in Hawaiian Eye and The Wild Wild West, and Dale Robertson in Tales of Wells Fargo… I remember Pamela Anderson in Stacked… Timothy Hutton in A Nero Wolf Mystery (following in Dad's footsteps), and Leverage...

But no… I don't remember Timothy Stack.

Funny, I remember Connie Stevens in 77 Sunset Strip, before she reprised her role as Cricket Blake in Hawaiian Eye as being more memorable than Robert Conrad reprising his same role in those same shows; probably for the same reason one remembers Pamela Anderson in Stacked... not that I forgot about Robert Conrad's Tom Lopaka, but his Jim West and Pappy Boyington were stronger characters, largely because he didn't have to compete w/ Connie's take-over-the-screen presence.

Who the heck is Timothy Stack?

I think I mighta had the hots for Connie Stevens when I was a kid..., but she's known that all along.

Timothy was born 1956 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, the son of Joan and Tom Stack.

Tim moved to Los Angeles and quickly joined the improvisational comedy group The Groundlings in 1979.

In the early 1990s, Stack appeared as the father of the main character on Parker Lewis Can't Lose. He later starred as Dick Dietrick on the raunchy talk show send-up/satire Night Stand with Dick Dietrick. "the only place you can get Dick on TV"

The role Stack is probably best known for is Notch Johnson on Son of the Beach, a Howard Stern-produced Baywatch send-up which aired on the FX cable channel from 2000 to 2002.

Stack also acted out a fictional version of himself on the television program My Name Is Earl, in which he was depicted as an arrogant, depressed, alcoholic resident of Camden County who frequently hosted beauty pageants and parades.

Stack has guest starred in several popular sitcoms over the years, including Benson, Laverne and Shirley, Night Court, The Wonder Years, Seinfeld, Wings, Malcolm in the Middle, and The Golden Girls.

May be, but I remember all of that as well.

Though I recall, she wasn't a regular on Sunset Strip.. They may have plugged her record on the show. As Cricket, she was a staple on Eye.

I wasn't that much of a fan of Black Sheep, though I did buy the box set when Amazon had it on sale.

Sunset Strip had one of the snappiest themes ever.

Now days, a lot shows don't have any.

And Westerns! We need more Westerns!

Very funny! I definitely remember this show!
I think it's funnier to me now than it was back then.

He was a writer on My Name is Earl. He sometimes played himself as a very minor celebrity in the town. One scene had him crashed in his car against a tree, drunk. The cop came up and recognized him and let him go and told him to drive on home. The cop said as Tim drove off, "It's OK. After he gets past the school, it's a straight shot to his house."
