I'm housecleaning today and could use a new music playlist. What is your happy (upbeat) song(s). Help keep me motivated!

Ukulele music I couldn't find anywhere else.

Not sure if this is my "happy song," but it came to mind, and I do love it, and maybe you'll like it, too:

U2's Joshua Tree album always does it for me. I find that my voice is gone by the end of the album because of my feeble attempts to sing the lyrics.

Happiness ? Lots of George Harrison. A little Enya.

Happy AND Motivated is a completely different play list. It ranges from Bach to Kraftwerk.

"Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World" by Israel Kamakawiwoole ("Iz").

"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion." (1987) -- Carl Sagan

Snap Your Fingers - Joe Henderson
Walkin' In The Sunshine - Roger Miller
Chug-A-Lug - Roger Miller
Burma Shave - Roger Miller
Good Old Days - Roger Miller
Working Girl - Roger Miller
The Best Of All Possible Worlds - Roger Miller

I figured you needed something different, so here are some really good "upbeat" songs. It's hard to beat a Roger Miller song no matter what mood you want.

Some great suggestions!

I'm absolutely loving the Maynard Ferguson that was suggested! I knew the name, but am not sure if I ever listened to him. I will again and again, now!

Vision63, I'm with you on the Taylor Swift song. LOVE IT!
