Walked out after an hour on Blookrayne....

terrible movie...Goth sword fights and vampire bites is about it....but then I'm not the age of most posters....I have never walked out of a movie but I thought I'd rather be on the computer and pay bills than go thru another half hour of this movie.

Maybe I'm wrong. What do you think?

Sword fights and vampires?
If there's female nudity too, it's going to be a major blockbuster...

samintx I'm curious.

Did you see any of the previews for the film?
Were you aware that it was based on a violent video game?
What made you want to see the film?

Closest I ever came to walking out of a movie I actually (thought I) wanted to see was CABIN BOY [www.imdb.com]. We just kept thinking that it must get better. Still, it had Letterman in it.

But, yeah, I have to agree; I knew seeing the adverts for this that it wasn't going to be my cup of tea.

i walked out of Agent Cody Banks 2, along with my wife & daughter. it was that bad.

i also left during xXx (Vin Diesel), that was the 2nd movie on a double-bill at the drive-in. didn't mind turning on the lights & starting the engine, either.

The Tominator:Yes, I had seen previews. Violence, horror, sex does not bother me...but the movie was BORRRRRRing. I don't play video games but whether or not there was nothing there to hold my attention.

I like to go to movies. I grew up on movies. I didn't think the actors were very good. The males read their lines.

But I have seen many good movies since Dec.22 and will see more good ones.

(only one young man in the theatre with me to see this movie!)

Kristanna Loken is the lead female. She showed trunk in Terminator 3, maybe she shows more in this one. That might be the only selling point from what I've heard.

I hope you got his phone number so that it wasn't a complete waste of time.
That is if he wasn't your date already.

You make her sound rather like an elephant.

Underworld was a movie I WISHED I had walked out of.
The only reason I stayed is that I thought my GF was
enjoying it. I found out later the only reason she
stayed was she thought I might be enjoying it. LOL

Sad But True,
Prof

I can't wait to not see Underworld:Evolution
(but I sincerely doubt it could be worse than the first)

First Family, with Bob Newhart. Worst movie I ever sat through. My wife and I still talk about it. We were "treated" to the movie by another couple. We felt it would have been rude to walk out and leave them there. I did contemplate spending a long time in the restroom, but thought that would raise other questions. Dave

Walked out on Battlefield Earth. [imdb.com]
I really did know better, but a friend insisted, and bought my ticket.

I walked out of a bargain showing of "Leonard: Part 6"

Generally, no matter HOW bad they are, I'm too cheap to walk out of a movie... I grit my teeth and stay for the whole thing, just so I can later warn people in full detail how bad it is.

I walked out on a movie this weekend. I thought it was going to be about "happy" cowboys.

Gotta say, Ishtar still takes the cake as far as I'm concerned. I think we didn't walk out because we were too caught up in the moment, realizing we were sitting through the worst movie ever right there.

I'd rather watch a Battlefield Earth marathon than sit through Naked Lunch.

Naked Lunch,
I can say there are TWO things wrong with that title!
