iTunes says "offers in app purchases" but I had this for a while (version 4. something) and I don't recall what in app purchases were available. also, the web site does not say anything about in-app purchases. Does anyone know?

Excellent! This gave me a free way to upgrade from 1Password 3. I had skipped that upgrade until now. Patience pays off! Probably means 5.0 is coming soon.

Digging around quickly I can't see anything to purchase in-app. Maybe it's a reserved functionality for future plans.

Still says $49 when I try to get it. You mean iPad version?

Yep, iPad version. Just left my Mac, where it is still $49.99, came to iPad and downloaded iPad version. Thanks!

BHave,

Just saw this deal myself and spread the word to friends and family. I would've posted it in the forum but you beat me to it. Great deal for an awesome app! The deal is all the better since the iOS version works as a stand-alone app and/or in conjunction with its Mac and Windows counterparts.

Patience pays off! Probably means 5.0 is coming soon.

Probably due to the new IOS 8 feature of accessing stored passwords/logins throughout all apps and not just Safari.

But if I didn't already have it, I'd grab this.

Of course, I just bought this about 2 weeks ago. It was only $9.99 then and I had an iTunes credit, so no big deal. I need to figure it out and start using it, though.

I believe it does, and I believe it is.

Or this.

It's a universal app, so it's probably the same version.

I just downloaded it, free, from my 'Phone.

It's now a free app, with in-app purchase available for "Pro Features." Let's hope they don't screw people who already paid full freight by requiring another purchase to get our features back.

Edit: former owners of v4 will get Pro features included with update. Phew!

However, a bug in the validation code means that you may have to delete 1Password 5 and re-download it via the App Store app on your iOS device in order to get the Pro features without paying a second time.
